Health and Fitness Accomplishment you are Proud of since becoming a mom-to-be: I am proud that I am nourishing my body with real, whole, plant foods everyday, drinking plenty of water, staying active, and relaxing as much possible. These are conscious choices I make every day for the health of my baby and I.
Advice for other moms or moms-to-be: Love your body in all its forms. So many times I hear pregnant women (and moms in general) complaining about their weight and body shaming themselves. It’s a shame that this is the norm. Our bodies are incredible, and we are helping to bring new lives into this world. We are all goddesses in our own right. This is an incredible blessing and gift, and I choose to view it as a miracle. By focussing on health, rather than just numbers on a scale, and by telling ourselves we are beautiful, I believe this makes a big difference in our self-esteem and well-being.
