Your Preferred Form of Exercise: Yoga and swimming (during pregnancy I was swimming 2-3 times a week and was trying to take 2 yoga classes a week)
Health and Fitness Accomplishment you are Proud of since becoming a mom or when you were a mom-to-be: During my pregnancy I ate a healthy gluten free vegetarian diet and continued my yoga practice. I also started swimming twice a week before work which was a challenge to get out of bed so early but everyday after my swim I was always happy I went and felt accomplished. I swam and practiced my yoga right up until my due date. I was never tired or burnt out I really feel staying active and eating healthy played a huge role in having a healthy pregnancy.
Advice for other moms or moms-to-be: Your pregnancy and birth is your experience it is what you make it, even if it doesn’t always go as planned, don’t let other people’s experiences effect you.
