Health and Fitness Accomplishment you are Proud of since becoming a mom or when you were a mom-to-be: I’ve been running for 20 years—through infertility and IVF, through childrearing, but in the last 5-6 years, I got serious and have run 13 half marathons and 2 full marathons. I’m training of #3 as we speak. I’m most proud of my PRs and AGs that I’ve gotten over the past 2 years. I’m a 50-something mom who refuses to let my age define me. I’m the mom of 2 teenage boys and I’m also a nurse practitioner. I hope to inspire other women and moms!
Advice for other moms or moms-to-be: Every mom has to have an interest that is her own, outside of her children. Having time for yourself to do something that makes you happy will make you a more patient mom. Plus you will be setting a good example for your kids!
