Health and Fitness Accomplishment you are Proud of since becoming a mom: Since giving birth to my first son I shed the 60lbs I gained during his pregnancy (and then some) and built my running up from 5k’s to running 5 half marathon’s in one year.
Advice for other moms: We as mom’s are the foundation for our family. If we aren’t taking care of ourselves (physically and mentally) then it’s impossible for the house to remain intact and the family to thrive! I’m a wife, boy mama and believer in people. Having gained and lost over 100 pounds TWICE I can’t tell you enough how important a healthy lifestyle means to me. That doesn’t mean skinny. That means you are doing your best to make sure you’re making positive choices for yourself and your body. No one is perfect 100% of the time, we’re all a work in progress, but waking up every day and making the choice to put yourself and your health first is the best decision you can make!
