Health and Fitness Accomplishment you are Proud of since becoming a mom or when you were a mom-to-be: Since the birth of my oldest I have gone from a size 12 to a 4-6, and made it back to that size after each baby. I am at my strongest now and love that my kids tell their friends that my mom runs or my mom lifts weights. They are proud of me and that makes me happy.
Advice for other moms or moms-to-be: Don’t let a set back determine the rest of your story. I had to completely stop working out during most of my pregnancies just to stay pregnant. That resulted in a lot of weight gain. But once I gave birth I got started working out again – from square one. And it was so hard, but I saw progress and so I kept going. You don’t have to be perfect to make progress, just set goals that will work for you and your lifestyle. Involve your kids in fitness and let them help to motivate you.
