Your Preferred Form of Exercise: CrossFit and boot camp are my favorites, but I love just about all forms of interval training. I used to be into long distance running, but have found much more success with and satisfaction from working out in a group setting doing high intensity, functional movements.
Health and Fitness Accomplishment you are Proud of since becoming a mom or when you were a mom-to-be: I entered a CrossFit competition just a few months after giving birth and after only having done CrossFit a few times. I came in second to last. The following year, I entered the same competition and came in second.
Advice for other moms or moms-to-be: Never let anyone else define what “fitness” means for you. You need to figure out your own concept of health and fitness, and only you knows what balance looks and feels like for you and your family.
