Health and Fitness Accomplishment you are Proud of since becoming a mom or when you were a mom-to-be:
I qualified to run my first Boston Marathon less than 3 months after giving birth to my second child, Lauren. I worked (as a high school English teacher) and taught fitness class until a week before having both of my children! I was back to exercise (moderately) two weeks after each delivery. Also, I am currently THE CHEIF MASTER TRAINER for PLYOGA Fitness. I am now in charge of certifying other fitness professionals while providing CEC’s through AFAA,ACE,NASM,CANFITPRO, etc. It has always been a dream of mine!
Advice for other moms or moms-to-be: Hi Moms! Stay in shape and exercise throughout your pregnancy to ensure healthy weight gain, strong muscles, and a better mental state! The more fit you are throughout your pregnancy, the faster your body will recover after you deliver! A healthy mom is THE BEST role model for her children!
