Health and Fitness Accomplishment you are Proud of since becoming a mom or when you were a mom-to-be: I was able to stay active and fit through back to back pregnancies (my sons are 14 months apart), with running, weight lifting and teaching group fitness. Shortly after the birth of my sons, I was back to distance running and am now even faster than I was pre-babies! Another huge accomplishment during and shortly after pregnancies was my husband and I fulfilled a dream since college and opened our own performance training gym!
Advice for other moms or moms-to-be: Be sure to listen to and honor your body, but you can certainly continue to be active and fit throughout your pregnancy. Also, never let go of your dreams. Whether it’s running a marathon or running a business, or both, having children is not a hindrance, rather an excellent motivator to do great things. Make yourself and your babies proud!
