Health and Fitness Accomplishment you are Proud of since becoming a mom or when you were a mom-to-be: Speed walking a 5k while baby carrying when Madison was a few months old.
Advice for other moms or moms-to-be: It took your body 9 months to transform and grow that precious baby, it needs AT LEAST that much time to get back to where it was before you were pregnant. Give your body time, pair good nutrition with fitness, and you’ll see results. You might need to try workouts you’ve never done before while your body is recovering, but don’t let that scare you away. If you’re a weights girl, try Pilates! If you’re a cardio fanatic, try dance cardio. Trade out your higher intensity workouts for a while and let your body recover in time with something that won’t throw you into shock and possibly cause an injury. You got this!
