Health and Fitness Accomplishment you are Proud of since becoming a mom or when you were a mom-to-be: I am a mother to a beautiful little girl. Through my journey I have truly made some crazy changes. When I was pregnant I was Diagnosed with Cholestasis and a severe heart condition. Already feeling nervous all the time I ate and ate. I was 150 lbs when I found out I was pregnant. The day I delivered I was 235. I tried every “fad” diet, wraps, supplements, shakes and couldn’t find a happy medium. One day I was looking through pictures and stood up and decided I was the roadblock. I was the reason I didn’t lose weight. And when my daughter was 18 months I made the change to a healthier lifestyle. I eat clean, I workout, and I enjoy life. Food addiction is real, and I conquered it! I have lost over 40 pounds without some crazy diet fad and continue to go down everyday after gaining 60+ with my pregnancy.
Advice for other moms or moms-to-be: Being a mom is a demanding job. By eating right and taking care of your body you have the energy to chase and keep up with your little ones. It’s amazing truly. I always thought well I have this baby weight, this is gonna be me forever. NOT TRUE! Whatever change you want to see, YOU CAN DO IT!
