Health and Fitness Accomplishment you are Proud of since becoming a mom or when you were a mom-to-be: My biggest accomplishment was when I attended Turbokick and Zumba classes while I was 7 months plus pregnant and was keeping up with the instructor and then later having women say that “if she can do it then I can do it”. Knowing that I motivated women made me proud that I continued to workout while I was pregnant. Since becoming a mom the best feeling was when my own mom told me (who is a nurse) that my son is picking up his mobility and body movement so quickly because he watches me workout every day. He sees me move and learn how to mimic it himself so he can do it too. Nothing cuter than having a baby crawl up next to you while you’re doing downward dog and he copies you.
Advice for other moms or moms-to-be: My advice to moms-to-be is don’t stress out. Everything won’t go as you planned it every time and all the advice in the world won’t always fix what’s wrong. Just do what you feel is right and what you feel works for you and your baby. Let your partner know if you are feeling stressed and overwhelmed so you can get an hour to yourself. An hour to read a book or even to do your workout. Even mommy needs a break.
